Saint Edmund's Church - Episcopal - San Marino, California - The dramatic alteration to the original 1952 interior features the addition of the side aisle arcades where once troughs of flurescent lighting hovered to indirectly light the Nave. The custom wrought iron Gothic style lanterns include the Cross of Canterbury in their design, representing the Episcopal Church's tie to the Church of England. The refitted Chancel introduces flexibility with the new furnishings while the 10 feet tall wainscoting embraces the space. Framing buttresses now ascend on either side of the Christ Pantocrator mosaic. All furnishings were custom designed for this project by the designer and are fabricated of black walnut. Saint Thomas' Church - Episcopal - Hollywood, California - The close-up of the new reredos' images of St. Mary the Virgin and St. John the Beloved flanking the tabernacle. The Memorial Chapel altar of cast stone and black granite was designed for the additional use as a columbarium. The Christus Rex occupies the reredos' central panel with the parish's patron saint and Father Damien the Leper. A gilded angel detail of the High Altar.
